Fort Trumbull State Park is a Fisherman’s Delight!  Enjoy a state-of-the-art, one-of-a-kind fishing pier with over 500 feet of shore-based access to the major game of Long Island Sound.  It also offers “The Fort” which was constructed between 1839 and 1852.  The Park offers tours and there are exhibits available.  There are public restroom facilities, a conference center, a waterfront walkway and so much more to entertain you!

Ocean Beach is a public Beach that your entire family will enjoy!  In addition to the beautiful sandy beach, enjoy a mini-boardwalk, miniature golf, a water slide, salt-water swimming pool, gaming arcade and much more!  There are public restrooms, changing rooms and showers, multiple concession stands and various sporting and entertainment activities including volleyball tournaments, various types of dancing and concerts.  Ocean beach has a large frontage of the calmer waters of Long Island Sound.  There is a daily flat fee for admission.
